Meet Mr. Daffodil Scarecrow...

I went for a walk in Regent's Park this morning when I came across him.
I had not seen him before and I deemed it most pertinent to call him
Mr. Daffodil Scarecrow.

Mr. Daffodil Scarecrow
Lived in Regent’s Park
Where people came to visit
From far away lands.

Sparrows kept him company
And from time to time,
A lark.

All sorts of people gathered around him,
Chinese, Croatian, Italian and Dutch.

How they all would marvel every Tuesday
At London’s brightest new star.
Expectant, they would all be waiting
For the right time to come.

When dear Mr. Daffodil Scarecrow,
In his bright green Wellingtons, standing proud
His favourite words would utter:
Ha!
Ha!
Ha!
