HEROES...

Dancers - The British Museum 2nd century B.C.

HEROES

Heroes sail on the crest of Oceans
Until they reach unreachable shores.

Heroes dance in lavish banquets of Babylon
To then fight in the pursuit of love.

Heroes leave their roots and homelands
To then die after they conquer their goals.

CONFUSION...

CONFUSION

Deafening bells,
Digging into my heart,
Chatting with my guts,
Punctuating my soul
With palpitations.
Then, a thousand whispers,
Indecipherable and persistent.

Midday sun,
Digging into my skin,
Sailing in my vessels,
Warmly,
Fastly,
Deeply.

Sudden darkness,
Confusing,
Convulsive,
Tiring.
