Let’s walk
into the sanctum
of hidden beauties.
Fertile oasis,
hidden beyond
the thresholds of many
of my fellow citizens.
For they will open the hearts
of their homes
to many a traveler
from distant places;
who under the spell
of such beauty,
will come to realize,
that May, in Córdoba, is,
quite simply…:
(whisper)
…’magic’.

For FOOD, you must visit the culinary heaven that is BODEGAS CAMPOS
where you must try the local star dish: SALMOREJO
You must also try the 'berenjenas con miel de caña'
a kind of aubergine (eggplant) tempura, drizzled over with sugar cane honey.
This is one of my favourite Córdoba dishes!
If properly made it's food heaven!
Trust me, in early May, Córdoba is one of the best destinations
in Europe for a short break!
